Project R.O.C.K. -
Reaching Our Community Kids
Community Outreach
Project R.O.C.K..
is designed to meet the spiritual, social, financial, and physical
needs of children in the South Fulton community. Project R.O.C.K.
consist of programs that assist children and youth in the areas of
Academics/Education, Cultural Arts, and Enrichment activities such
as dance, music, etiquette, drama, gymnastics, and karate. This
Ministry also sponsors several annual programs such as:
-
Christmas Outreach – an average of 200-300 low income
children are given toys for Christmas annually. This Christmas
we serviced 339 children in the South Fulton Community and
blessed several mothers with beautiful gift baskets.
- Thanksgiving Outreach -
80-100 families are provided with turkeys and groceries annually
- Fall Festival- Community
members are clothed, fed and outdoor events are provides for all
children free of charge
- Back to School Bash -
More than 100 elementary, middle and High School youth in
community are issued back to school supplies
- Summer Food Program -
over 200 low-income children are provided two to three meals per
day during the summer. Harvest Rain also manages and provides
food for more than five sites in the Summer Food Program in
various locations in the metropolitan area.
- After School and Summer
Enrichment Program - offered Monday thru Friday to youth in
the South Community area.
